Wide Elasticized Skinny Waist Flared Sweatpants

■ Design & Concept

RYE CHASIN pursues designs that reconstruct the body's lines. The most prominent feature is the wide "elastic" structure applied from the waist to the hips. In contrast to the "skinny waist" which cinches the waist tightly like a corset, the "flared silhouette" expands with explosive volume from below the knee to the hem. This dramatic change in line, resembling an hourglass, imbues the casual material of sweatpants with a modern and avant-garde expression.

■ Material & Texture

• High-Density Sculptural Cotton: To maintain the silhouette, high-density cotton with more stiffness than regular fleece is used. The design allows the flared hem to spread beautifully outwards, resisting gravity.

• Wide Ribbed Elastic Waist: The waist features a highly elastic wide rib. This provides a strong hold while ensuring a stress-free wearing experience.

• Smooth Comfort Interior: The inner surface, which touches the skin, is smooth, offering a premium texture that maintains comfort even after long hours of wear.

■ Silhouette & Details

• Extreme Flared Cut: The cut follows the leg line up to the knee, then flares out dramatically towards the hem. The fabric sways significantly with each step, creating dynamic movement.

• Skinny-to-Wide Transition: The contrast between the tight waist and wide hem maximizes the leg-lengthening effect and dramatically corrects the figure.

• Minimalist Seamwork: To highlight the complex silhouette, details are kept to a minimum. The vertical side seams enhance a refined impression.

■ Styling Suggestion
