RYE CHASIN
Bosozoku Embroidered Jacket
■ Design & Concept
This ambitious work by RYE CHASIN draws inspiration from the "tokkō-fuku" (special attack uniform) worn by "bōsōzoku" (motorcycle gangs), a subculture that symbolized Japan's Showa era.
Symbolic kanji characters like "Yoroshiku" (宜しく) and "Aramu Yu" (愛羅武勇) are not merely sampled, but recontextualized within the framework of contemporary high-end streetwear. The fervor of the bubble economy and the overflowing energy of youth are revived in the present day through the form of the "tokkō-fuku."
■ Craftsmanship: Heavy-Duty Embroidery with 300,000 Stitches
The greatest feature of this piece is its intricate embroidery detail, which overwhelms the viewer.
-
High-Density Embroidery: Featuring high-density embroidery with a total of 300,000 stitches on the front and back, creating a three-dimensional effect and an insane power that cannot be achieved with print.
-
Premium Fabric: The fabric used is **100% pure cotton 460g heavy terry (French terry)**. Its high density provides exceptional shape retention and durability, preventing it from losing its form.
-
Tailored Silhouette: Adopting a "cropped length x slim fit" in line with contemporary trends. Additionally, subtle shoulder pads are built in to beautifully correct the shoulder line when worn, while stylishly creating the "intimidating presence" unique to the tokkō-fuku.
■ Details
-
Structured Fit: Through multiple pattern adjustments, a golden ratio silhouette has been achieved that beautifully flatters the body while ensuring ease of movement.
-
Artistic Impact: The large embroidery on the back is an iconic finish that truly embodies the brand's philosophy.
■ Styling Suggestion
We recommend pairing it with wide baggy denim or cargo pants to create contrast in the silhouette. Utilize the cropped length for a layered style, embodying the cutting-edge "Japanese Grunge" of 2026.
