Wave Claw Mud Dyed Denim
■ Design & Concept
noEmosen's philosophy of "the boundary between nature and artificiality" is expressed in these mud-dyed wide-leg jeans. Organic paneling, reminiscent of waves and sharp claws, stretches from the front to the back. The most distinctive feature is the "mud-dyed" process, meticulously applied by artisans. The unevenness, varying from piece to piece and evoking the earth's breath, along with the deep, subdued earth tones, draw the wearer into a primitive aesthetic, detached from the urban landscape.
■ Material & Texture
-
Hand-Crafted Mud Dyed Finish: A unique color palette where deep browns and grays blend, achieved by dyeing with mud. It features a matte, warm texture that cannot be replicated by chemical dyes.
-
Textured Heavy Denim: Made from tough, textured denim. The mud-dyed coating creates a "fading" effect that gradually brings out white highlights as the garment is worn, giving it a rock-like appearance.
-
Raw Edge Paneling: The raw-cut edges in the paneling emphasize a handcrafted and wild aesthetic.
■ Silhouette & Details
-
Fluid Wide-Leg Silhouette: A loose wide-leg silhouette that changes expression with every movement of the legs. The carefully designed curved panel construction gives the heavy fabric a fluid "flexibility."
-
Distorted Seam Lines: Distorted seam lines, unlike those found in typical jeans. They visually reconstruct the leg line, creating an architectural sculptural beauty.
-
Antique-Finished Hardware: Rivets and buttons with a rusted finish, matching the body's tone. The aesthetic of "aging" is thoroughly pursued down to the finest details.
■ Styling Suggestion
Pairing these jeans with a "tight-fitting skin top" creates a refined contrast to the earthy bottoms, completing an "urban primitive" style. Alternatively, wearing an "oversized black hoodie" with "heavy-duty mountain boots" on your feet is also recommended for a dark-toned "contemporary artisan style."
